Birds Flying
When flying, birds may soar, glide, stoop, hover, kite, course, or quarter.  They may fly directly or indirectly to their destinations.  They may fly in an undulating or bounding pattern.  They may fly alone or in flocks and if in flocks, they may be in familiar "V" formations. During migration, they may fly very long distances.  Some need to stop along the way while others have fueled up for the longest flights.
