Join SFAS on a Pelagic Sea-birding Adventure!

May 27, 2019

Minimum participants: 30

Maximum participants: 40

Join renowned seabirding experts, David Simpson and Captain Roberto ‘Toe’ Torres, at the Super
Sea Legs’ dock in Broward County (5398 North Ocean Drive, Hollywood, FL 33019) for a wonderful day of adventure. The trip is scheduled to head out into the Gulf Stream to look for shearwaters, jaegers, migrating gulls,
terns and others stopping for any activity along the way.  The Gulf Stream is less than one hour out from the dock (avg 10-15 miles), one of its closest approaches to the shoreline anywhere along the Atlantic Coast of the Florida Peninsula.

The Super Sea Legs is a 75ft. fishing
vessel with an upper and lower deck.  Bench seating
surrounds the lower deck giving every participant plenty of elbow room. She has a main cabin
which is fully air conditioned. Inside, you will find a galley, dining area with tables, seating and two
very clean restrooms. The trip will be limited to 40 in order to give plenty of mobility to all
participants for a quality seabirding experience. Meet at the dock before 6:00 am for 6:15 am
departure. The boat will return to the dock by 1:00 pm.  For specific questions, please contact David Lagan at or text 786-385-4862.

The trip is on!
