SFAS is seeking STUDENT INTERNS for the 18-19 academic year.

Interested students should submit a cover letter and resume to

Student interns should have skills and interest in the following areas:
environmental protection
wildlife protection
graphic design
social media

Interns should be able to commit to a minimum of 1 hour per week to assist with advertising and promotion via social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.  Website design is a plus.  Interns should also be willing to assist with the creation of the monthly newsletter by writing short, relevant articles as well as website content.

Do you like to write?  Do you have a knack for design?  Enjoy photography as a hobby?  SFAS could use your skills!  Volunteer to assist with articles, web design, social media, and more.  Email for more information.

Volunteers are needed to serve on the board and/or committees.  If you are interested in any of the following, please let us know:  

(1) Birdwatching and expeditions,
(2) Preservation of wildlife and habitat,
(3) Land conservation,
(4) Water quality,
(5) Everglades restoration,
(6) Fundraising and Finance,
(7) Press releases and Public Service Announcements,
(8) Social media skills and website administration, or
(9) Membership and enrollment.
