Event Details

  • Date:

We’re excited to invite you to our Adopt-a-Dune Volunteer Event on April 19th (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park!

In partnership with the South Florida Audubon Society and the Spotlight Project, we’ll be planting sea oats to help stabilize dunes, protect our coastline, and slow ongoing erosion. This is hands-on conservation at its best, real impact, right where it matters.

What to expect:

  • Meaningful conservation work
  • A chance to connect with the community
  • Learn about coastal resilience and dune ecosystems
  • Support ongoing habitat restoration efforts
