David, the Urban Conservation Director at the South Florida Audubon Society, is dedicated to urban ecological initiatives. He leads projects like sea turtle hatchling rescues and coastal dune restoration and manages M.E. DePalma Park’s Birds and Butterflies Garden in Wilton Manors. His academic achievements include a Master’s in Environmental Policy/Environmental Planning, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, and certificates in Environmental Sustainability, Public Land Management, and Watershed Management from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

His commitment to conservation and community engagement has been recognized with President Obama’s 2015 United States Presidential Volunteer Service Award. David actively promotes biodiversity and sustainable urban living, encouraging community involvement in environmental preservation, significantly impacting South Florida’s ecological health and community resilience.
