Historical material stays historical. It will not be silently rewritten as a new SFAS observation.
Ken Schneider’s Rosyfinch Bald Eagle Nest Watch helped organize an extraordinary local record. The new archive will recognize Ken and the many observers, photographers, conservationists, agencies and community members who created the historical collection.
Ken Schneider reported both members of the pair roosting near the Pembroke Pines nest at about 9:30 a.m. He identified Pride and Jewel, compared their appearance, and reported the nest in good shape with possible new sticks already added.
Follow the documented 2011–2012 BO-002 chronology from adult return and an estimated egg date through hatching and fledging, while preserving the uncertainty surrounding the eaglet’s later outcome.
Click through the documented early BO-002 eaglets by breeding season.
Open generalized nest locations without exposing sensitive coordinates.
Connect BO-002 observations to its conservation and preservation history.
Search provenance-first observations and follow the research-data build.
