Pembroke Pines BO-002

The Eagle Family Tree

Beginning with the original documented pair, Pride and Joy, and continuing through Pride’s later partnership with Jewel.

How to read this tree: this is a historical relationship tree, not a genetic pedigree. It reflects parent/eaglet relationships documented by observers. Estimated dates, presumed losses and numbering conflicts remain labeled rather than silently resolved.

A separate milestone notes field conflicts with the table by assigning an early-mortality statement to P Piney 10. The source conflict is preserved in the complete eaglet history.

Joy’s final documented breeding season.

A New Chapter

After the 2013–2014 season, Joy was no longer the female at BO-002. A new female appeared with Pride. The forum temporarily called her “Newfie”; the historical record later used Jewel.

Numbering & source note: the milestone record now allows the family tree to account for P Piney 1 through P Piney 27, including early losses. One internal conflict remains in the 2012–2013 source: the family-album table identifies P Piney 10 as fledging and P Piney 11 as the presumed loss, while a separate notes field assigns an early-mortality statement to P Piney 10. We preserve that discrepancy rather than choosing one version by inference. See the complete source-based eaglet chronology →
